The children’s beds had sheets but no bedspreads, and there was nowhere proper to put our luggage, just a small 15/18 chair. Getting to the terrace meant walking through the bathroom. I also found exposed electrical conduit and a power strip at the end of it. After I left a satisfactory review on Booking.com, the owner texted to complain about it as if I’d written something negative, and told me not to contact him about another stay. That felt rude and childish. I’m choosing not to return, and hope these details help future guests.

We barely used the car at all, since the sea was literally two steps away and the center three. Everything we needed was close, and we could relax and enjoy the vacation. The place itself is charming, informal, welcoming, and wonderfully quiet. Gianni gave us lots of useful advice on places to see and excursions worth taking. Our rooms were spotless and smelled lovely, which isn’t something you often find. It really felt like home. Thank you for everything!

Everything was very clean, the room was comfortable, and Mr. Gianni was kind and helpful. The only drawback was that breakfast wasn’t included. We did get a 5% discount at two bars.

We were only in San Vito Lo Capo for one night, so we couldn’t tell whether prices were high everywhere, but this room didn’t feel worth what we paid. The place did take us in on just an hour’s notice, and there was a parking spot, which I understand is rare in San Vito. Still, the room was sweltering, had no view, and the bathroom was awkward to access. It might suit people mainly looking for a beach stay, since the beach is only a three-minute walk away.
