La Grande Palma

We were two families, four adults and four children, looking for an apartment at the last minute. Mrs. Caterina welcomed us with extraordinary kindness and found us a large, spotless, well-kept apartment. It had three double bedrooms, one with a bunk bed, a kitchen and living room, and a big bathroom with a tub and shower. The towels and sheets were clean and smelled lovely. She let us use the gas barbecue and grill in her garden, gave us excellent tips on where to eat, and quickly sorted out a small plumbing problem in the bathroom. A really positive stay, and highly recommended for its location too, two minutes from the loveliest beaches in the Trapani area and 10 minutes from San Vito lo capo.

Caterina gave us a warm welcome and was there throughout our stay. One evening I was about to head out when I noticed a hole in my skirt, and she and her talented mother kindly sewed it up for me. Giuseppe was helpful from my first call to book through the last call to confirm arrival details, and Matteo gave us lots of advice. The apartment was lovely, had all the comforts we needed, a large outdoor terrace, and was wonderfully peaceful. It's just 10 minutes from San Vito Lo Capo and places like the Bay of Santa Margherita and Bue Marino. A truly beautiful place to stay.

We spent 5 days here and had a great time. The owner was welcoming and always on hand with information. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. There was also a barbecue and laundry facilities. It's only a few minutes from the beach and San Vito. With 7 people, having just one bathroom was a bit of a challenge. Still, we'd recommend it and hope to come back. Thank you.

The price is far too high for what you get, and the lady won't see us again. We stayed for a week, and the house had a terrible layout: just one bathroom, and it didn't work properly. The kitchen was missing basic things like knives and forks, the rooms were small and noisy, and one room had four beds with no privacy. The air conditioning was faulty too. It's not suitable for any kind of guest.
