Residence Tre Stelle

We rented a car and could easily reach other beautiful beaches nearby. San Vito itself is beautiful, but very crowded and poorly maintained. We visited Selinunte, Mazzara, Trapani, Marsala, Macari, and Favignana during the same period, and were treated very well by kind, courteous owners elsewhere in Sicily. Here, the owners were rude and unfriendly, and immediately demanded payment by instant bank transfer when we arrived. We’d trusted the owner and cancelled our Booking.com reservation to book directly. The apartment is well maintained and has two floors, but of the three upstairs bedrooms only one is decent; the other two are tiny and uncomfortable. Air conditioning is only in the upstairs hallway, so you have to leave doors open to cool the rooms and give up privacy. A key lock means you can’t leave it running when you go out, so it’s scorching when you get back. There’s no air conditioning downstairs either, and it gets extremely hot. There’s no free parking, so if you arrive by car you need a permit costing €10 a day. I hope sharing this helps others avoid the bad experience we had. My advice is to stay elsewhere. There are better places in the area.
