Thank you to Salvatore and family for all their hospitality and help. Baglio Monteleone is ideal if you want to settle into the quiet of rural Sicilian life. The apartments are affordable, spacious, and well furnished, and the welcoming family will even help with small requests, like baking soda for baking. Castelluzzo sits between two powerful mountains, and the maisonettes have a perfect view of them. If you’re using public transport, my tip is to rent a scooter cheaply from GT Transfer. It makes exploring the area and shopping easier. I’d recommend it to everyone.
