The location was amazing, and the hotel felt cozy. Breakfast was small but tasty, and they cleaned our room every day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks so much to all of them!

After waiting my whole life to see Sicily's northwestern coast, where my family roots are, we stayed at the Artemide Hotel in San Vito Lo Capo. Christina at the front Desk suggested Zingaro restaurant, just around the corner, so we went there for dinner. The place was beautifully set up, and Antonino, possibly the best waiter I've ever met, promised us a perfect meal and delivered. Nino's suggestions were spot on. We tried pasta and melanzanne, a cheese dish, and phenomenal caponta. The local vino paired beautifully with the food. The tuna was incredible, and the rolled sardines were to die for. He even started us off with panelle. For dessert, I had a lemon tart that was pure Lemon Heaven. If you're in San Vito, try Zingaro and ask for Antonino. He'll guide you through a true Sicilian dinner you won't forget.
