The room was spacious and clean, and it worked pretty well for a night. The central location comes with nighttime noise, though, and there’s no elevator, so bear that in mind if you have a lot of luggage.

The location is nice and the room was clean, but the noise from neighboring rooms was awful. I expected the bars downstairs to be noisy, but there was also renovation work in the building. From 6am, all we could hear was banging and machine drilling.

Prices seemed fair for the area and season, and the room was good. The air conditioning was a lifesaver. The kitchen, though, was poorly equipped, with little besides plates, cutlery, and cups. There wasn't even salt. A washing machine was provided, but nowhere to hang laundry, and the wobbly table wasn't usable. We weren't told in advance that cleaning would happen every day, so staff might damage something that's wrapped in a towel, then leave it lying there. Also, you pick up the keys for Andres Guest House at a completely different place, about a 15 minute walk away. The town was lovely otherwise. Most public beaches had uncomfortable stones. We went to a beach in Bordighera, the next town over, right by the train station, with proper waves and round stones.

The location is perfect, it couldn't be better. The apartment is decent, but the windows aren't well insulated, so noise and cold come through. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We'll be back!
