Dinner on the terrace was the highlight, proper homemade Italian food in a little paradise. The house sits hidden in the forest, and the place has a lovely character, with classy wooden rooms that were really comfortable. There are cats everywhere, a few dogs, and even a donkey. Francesca is one of the sweetest people you could meet. We’d definitely come back and stay a few more nights.

The food Fabrizio cooked was delicious, and we had a relaxing day surrounded by nature and lovely, well-behaved animals. There were three dogs, three cats, two goats, and Valentino the donkey. The hosts were so kind and welcoming that we felt at home right away.

We stayed at CAPANNA ROSSA for two days, and the feeling Francesca and Fabrizio gave us was like being their children, not just guests. The home is enchanting, furnished with great taste, and the hospitality, food, and courtesy were all first-rate. An excellent rating hardly seems enough. Thank you, Alessandra Antonella Alberto.

The owners were a real highlight, so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The place itself is lovely and peaceful. Getting there can be tricky if you're not used to mountain roads, though that’s pretty normal in the Ligurian hinterland. We’ll definitely return.
