Casa Corradi

What a mess. The listing photo doesn't show the apartment's actual address at all. It's on a narrow street, and the entrance looks like a prison gate. Getting to the third-floor apartment means tackling steep stairs with very high steps. They felt dangerous for children, and older people would be better off avoiding them. Wi-Fi was advertised, but there wasn't any. There was no hot water ready when we arrived either. You have to switch on a water heater mounted high up, so we couldn't shower on our first night. The advertised second bedroom doesn't exist. It's a tiny mezzanine, with barely 1.40 meters of headroom, reached by a narrow staircase where the ceiling is only about a meter high at the top. You'd need to be able to bend yourself into all sorts of shapes. Ms. Barbara was meant to meet us. She arrived late, seemed unfriendly, and rushed through the tour in a minute and a half. There was no real chance to ask anything. Later, when she was supposed to collect the keys, we waited a full half hour and she still hadn't come. If you've got a train or another booking to get to, good luck arriving on time. The whole stay was spoiled by a staggering level of incompetence.
