We got to the hotel at 3:00 PM, the stated check-in time, but were told our room wasn't ready. The double bed had two single mattresses at different heights, so the first night was uncomfortable. When I raised the issue, staff rudely said, “We’ll refund the next two nights, just leave the hotel.” We'd asked for housekeeping after going out. They only straightened the bedspread. The sheets hadn't been changed, the floor and bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and there was no water in the fridge. Some staff were extremely rude, and the pool water was dirty too.

The room was spacious and had a balcony where I could sit in the evening and look out at the sea. I stayed overnight on 31/05/25 while driving back to London. I'd asked for parking because I was travelling from London and wanted the car secure, though they hadn't guaranteed a space. There was a local event, all the spaces were taken, and I couldn't park there. The bedroom radiator was still heating in June, so I asked them to turn it off. An engineer came and said it would cool down within an hour, but it was still on the next morning.

The pool was clean and really nice, and the hotel is in a great spot in Sanremo, just a five-minute walk from the city centre. A sunbed costs 20 euro per day, but the way the pool is organized, with bar and service, makes the price feel justified.

I've stayed in hotels all over the world, and this is the only one where I've had to pay €10,- per person for a pool sunbed. Unbelievable....
