The balcony view is spectacular, and the owners are very kind and helpful. But the apartment could be much better cared for, and the cleaning wasn't great. At 35 degrees Celsius, there's no air conditioning, and without mosquito nets on the terrace doors you have to choose between opening up and dealing with mosquitoes, or staying in the heat. The garden is dry and neglected, with potential that's going unused. The kitchen dishwasher doesn't work either.

The apartment is spacious, with a lovely view over the city and bay, even at night. It's close to Sanremo's beaches, and the barbecue area was nice. The landlord was very friendly, the apartment was clean, and the rental went smoothly. Some furniture was a little damaged and the dishwasher was broken. We also had to get used to traffic noise from the SS1, with Italian scooter riders doing at least 100 km/h in 30 km/h zones. Still, no complaints about the service or the view.
