The olive oil tasting was a highlight. We were there just after the harvest, and the freshly pressed oil from Alberto and Paola's farm had a flavor and character we'd never tried before. Alberto also arranged a booking at a restaurant they supply with oil and produce, which added another lovely experience to our time in Italy. My wife and I took a private class at their Florence location. They welcomed us and showed us around the farm, then taught us fresh pasta basics and how to make a few traditional Tuscan dishes. Alberto and Paola are wonderful people, and the experience felt warm and traditional. I'd happily book a class or a stay with this family.

The owners are lovely, and the setting is beautiful. I wasn't as impressed by all of the rooms, though. The general atmosphere is still great.

Paola and her son Alberto made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They're kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. We had a wonderful stay at Il Trebbio Agriturismo, with genuinely relaxing, authentic surroundings and great service. A memorable way to experience Tuscany with warm hosts.

The homemade pasta with eggs from their own hens and Tuscan ragù is so delicious that we kept eating too much. That was one of only two drawbacks to our endlessly enjoyable stay, the other being a couple of rainy days. We celebrated our silver anniversary here with friends this year, and we've already stayed at this lovely house several times. We'll definitely return.
