Ofelia, Luigi, and their son Alessandro welcomed us like family. The room was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. If you're traveling from Pieve Santo Stefano to Sansepolcro, it would be well worth splitting the route with a night here. And don't miss dinner at Giulio's Resto, right next to Alla Battuta.

I was traveling alone as a Via di Francesco pilgrim and couldn't find a place to stay, so I shortened the day and stopped in La Montagna. Finding Alla Buttata was such a good decision. The accommodations were comfortable and just right, and Ofelia and Luigino were wonderful hosts. With the local restaurant closed, they made a lovely home-cooked dinner. I felt completely at home. Thank you both.

It's tucked into a small village near Sansepolcro, so you can enjoy the garden in total peace or take lovely walks in the mountains and forest. A real Tuscan stay away from the city bustle and tourists. The hosts make you feel at home, and their food is amazing. This is the nicest place to stay in the area. Highly recommended! Elina

The family who runs the place is lovely and very friendly, and the woman cooks wonderfully. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot far from the city crowds, with everything needed for a perfect stay. The Wi-Fi is also very fast. I'm sure you'll like it.
