The mountain and garden views stayed lovely throughout all nine nights, and Mariano made breakfast each morning with fresh fruit from their farm trees. Giovanni also shared ideas for places to visit. Both hosts were welcoming, and the family property is very well kept. A scooter or small car is a good idea. Mariano can help arrange one, and our scooter made it easy to get to Positano, Amalfi, and Sorrento. Gerald, the friendly dog, often lounged on the stairs outside our room and got the zoomies when he came downstairs with us for breakfast.

We wished we could have stayed longer, but had to move on to see other places. Buses were easy to find and the shops were nearby, so it worked well as a base for exploring the area. The place was peaceful and green, with fresh air and a hill-station feel. Our room had a lovely view both day and night, and the room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices. Thanks to Giovanni, our special chef. The owners were kind, helpful, and polite. I’d recommend staying here.

The host was rude and offered no customer service. When I said there was no usable parking, he told us to leave or stay, that he was busy and had no time for us. He also ignored calls from the booking website, and it felt like he was trying to avoid the issue. The parking claim is misleading. The entrance is so narrow that only a very small local car could get through, and even our Fiat 500 couldn’t reach the street. I’ve seen other reviews describing the same parking problem. They cancelled our booking and did not refund us. The location is really bad. Never go!

The roads are narrow, but the drive is definitely worth it. It’s a magical, peaceful spot where you can enjoy both sides of the sea. Mario, you’re the best :)
