Villa Vittoria

We stayed for two weeks and already want to return next year. Alfonso was a gracious host and incredibly helpful, and the area felt very safe. The place was spotless, with great restaurants nearby. Sant’Agnello was about a 12-minute walk, and Sorrento took roughly 20 minutes, about a mile. The markets had fish, produce, cheese, and meat, and the shopkeepers were all friendly and helpful. It had everything we wanted and more. Highly recommend!

We had no complaints and would gladly stay here again on our next Amalfi coast trip. There’s secure underground parking, and it’s free, which is rare around here. The place has loads of character, is beautiful and spotlessly clean, and is well placed for walking into sorrento. Alfonso was the kindest, most caring host I’ve met.

The room had plenty of space and a proper kitchen area, and the floor was clean, but the detailed cleaning really needs attention. The towel warmer, cabinet handles, and freezer were dusty or dirty, and the handles were sticky. We had to wipe everything down thoroughly before unpacking or using the cabinets and racks. There’s no housekeeping during the stay, and each requested cleaning costs €25. We tried using the supplied broom in between, but it was so dusty that it just made the room dustier. The stay wasn’t bad, and there are a few other options nearby, including places closer to the port or other amenities. Still, cleanliness was an issue, so if we return to Sorrento I’d choose another hotel.

We worked here during the week and had perfect WiFi, plus the kitchen had everything we needed. Alfonso was flexible from the start and always reachable on WhatsApp when we needed anything. He even brought us an extra table to use as a desk. Our ground-floor villa didn’t get much natural light, but the outside patio made up for it and gave us another place to work. It was about a 15-minute walk to the city center, with a nice area for walking at night, and the port was the same distance. The villa was super clean, looked just like the pictures, and had lovely decor throughout. The atmosphere was very quiet, mostly couples. Great service from Alfonso, highly recommended.
