Etna Sunshine Rent Rooms

The bathrooms worked fine, though they could use an update, and the outside of the property could do with some attention too. Still, it was a pleasant stay and very good value. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable, and there's a lovely pool. Breakfast was generous and truly excellent.

Booking.com eventually found a solution, but I won't stay at this hotel again and can't recommend it. I arrived at 4 PM after telling them well in advance when to expect me, and found my room filthy, under construction, and with sewage coming up through the shower. Nobody had warned me. There was no staff member around to help, and staff were practically nonexistent. They moved me to a less desirable room over WhatsApp, where communication was nonexistent, then asked me to leave it at 8 AM the next morning. After that, they said they couldn't honor my reservation while trying to move me into an even worse room than the one I'd booked.

The Sicilian style breakfasts were a real treat, with local granita, latte di mandorla, or cornetti delighting us every day. Everyone on staff was so kind and ready to help, and the owner was the most welcoming and available we've ever met. Etna Sunshine is a truly special place. The rooms were beautiful and very clean, and the whole property was finished with care down to the smallest detail. The atmosphere was so warm and friendly that we were genuinely sad to leave. We'd love to come back, and recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday in the real Sicilian style!

Francesca's cooking is a dream, and the owner is so kind. The rooms are clean, and this is one of the most beautiful, peaceful places in Sicily. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay.
