I’m from Westchester, just north of NYC, and I’m used to having a lot of amenities. My family came to America from Sant’Andrea Ionio, so this trip was a chance to vacation and reconnect with relatives. We found the food amazing, and enjoyed the beautiful Beach Club and the pool bar, which had plenty of tasty alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I’d suggest the lemon granita, with a little something added by the bartender if you want to take the edge off 😋. The people here made a big difference. Staff checked in with me countless times, told us about the daily activities, and kept an eye on whether guests were enjoying themselves. Francesco, who I believe manages the property with Alessandro, Marta at reception, and Mary, who was one of the most engaging staff members around, all went out of their way again and again. I’m sure I’ve missed other names. Everyone seemed focused on meeting or exceeding expectations. Even the lifeguards, including Vito, were great at making sure we were having a good stay. We found it suited all kinds of guests, whether you’re here as a family or a young couple.

It really feels like you're in a village, and the whole idea is to switch off and enjoy yourself. The service is great, and people always seem cheerful. The one snag is the language: you'll need some basic Italian, since nobody speaks even a little English.

Great staff, really fantastic. It’s good value for the money and works perfectly for families.

The beach was beautiful, and we enjoyed the tasty Italian food at lunch and dinner. We had a nice stay at the hotel, though I was disappointed by how many single-use plastic cups there were.

The pool and beach were both a hit with us, and the activities were just right for my six-year-old son. We loved our time at Nausicaa, with great staff and delicious food.
