Bed and Breakfast Il Melangolo

The place is centrally located in the inner city, and parking and breakfast are included. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the friendly owners looked after them themselves. We’ll definitely come back. Grazie mille 🙃

The welcome was warm, and the staff were always available when we needed anything. Breakfast was good and enough, and the room was cleaned every other day. The B&B itself is simple, and I liked having internal parking, though it’s an unkempt dirt area with different shrubs. A little work on it, like flower beds, paving, and a few tables, could make it a nice spot to sit in the evening, especially for guests in smaller rooms. The online photos show beautiful rooms, all furnished differently, with bright, quiet terraces overlooking the garden. Unfortunately ours was the least appealing: smaller than the others, with a window facing the main road and the church bells. We had to keep the windows closed and the air conditioning on, which was old and noisy. In short, I was disappointed.

Mariano and his wife were very kind, and we felt warmly welcomed. The property was exceptionally clean and in a consistently excellent location. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

We were very happy with our stay. The owner was friendly and ready to help, and the price was excellent for what we got. Everything was clean and smelled fresh, from the rooms to the shared areas. Two kind, smiling ladies served a delicious breakfast. The central spot makes it easy to walk to attractions and services, and private parking was a real convenience given how few paid lots there are nearby. Recommended!
