A peaceful, well-kept villaggio surrounded by beautiful nature. Once you reach the top of the hill, it feels like paradise. You can even see or hear the sea from your bedroom. A dream.

The view is breathtaking, and it’s very quiet here. Getting to the beach is a little inconvenient because it sits much lower than Polifemo beach.

From the spacious terrace, you can enjoy dinner and watch the sunset over the sea, thanks to the village’s elevated position. It’s a quiet, exclusive group of villas overlooking the water. For clearer water and snorkeling, head down to the rocks instead of the beach, and watch out for sea urchins. If you get the chance to stay in one of the villas here, I highly recommend it.

Barcaro is the most picturesque and secluded swimming spot, though you can only reach this cove on foot and residents are the only ones allowed in. The small residential village itself is quiet and isolated, but you can walk down to the beaches below the houses and the campsite, which has a bar-restaurant and minimarket.

The views are good, and the apartment is in a quiet spot. It’s set high up, so getting to the beach means walking downhill. The one drawback is that there’s no dishwasher. Otherwise, it’s great.
