I Tre Poggi, The Originals Relais

Barbara went out of her way to help when our bags were lost on the flight. She arranged a late check-in and got us toothbrushes and everything else we needed. The rooms were modern and cozy, and the service was wonderful. Breakfast was good, though fresh coffee would be nicer than the machine coffee. You could order a fresh one at the bar. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

The room was exactly as advertised, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We came at the end of August for the first few days of our trip, then stayed again on the last day. The hotel sits on a hillside by a lake, a gorgeous, peaceful spot and a great base for exploring northwestern Sardinia. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home straight away. Breakfast was excellent, and so was the food on the restaurant menu.

We loved our July stay. Each room is in its own bungalow, and ours was very clean with a comfortable mattress. The views are stunning, and it’s such a quiet, relaxing place, with great service and delicious food. It’d be perfect for wedding celebrations. Just bring mosquito spray, there were lots of them by the lake 😄.

Parking was always available whenever we got back, and the pool was well maintained, though the water felt a bit cold. The location and lake views are lovely, but you can’t see the lake directly from inside the room. Staff were generally friendly and available, although we had trouble communicating with a server at lunch. The bed was comfortable, but the other fittings and furnishings seemed dated. At check-in the bathroom smelled unpleasant, though it faded later, and the shower had a drainage problem. Breakfast was decent, but we had to eat inside because there were so many wasps outdoors. We were also disappointed that some activities listed on the hotel website weren’t available during our stay. It would be better if the site information were accurate and up to date.
