Dimora Morello

The location won’t suit everyone, but my family and I found our paradise here: quiet, remote, with a perfect view and a close connection to the locals. From the farmlands and native homes to the sea catching the sunshine on one side and storms rolling in from the mountains on the other, the scenery was something we loved waking up and falling asleep to. Every time we entered the main gate, it felt like stepping into another world. We felt welcomed, cared for, and supported, even so far from home. Our questions and requests were always answered and handled without hesitation. The rooms were clean and ready for us, with towels, water, soap, and everything we needed. Every morning brought a smile and a good mood. I’d recommend visiting to experience the friendliness and care we associate with Italians. Thank you for giving my family and me such a perfect holiday. I hope we can come again next year.

Luca made us feel so welcome at Dimora Morello, and took us on a fantastic truffle hunting tour. We loved our stay in Poggio Morrello, in the Abruzzo region, and had the best time. Mirko made us an amazing dinner when we arrived: pasta, veal, and cheesecake, all delicious and made with local produce. We ate on the rooftop, where the view was breathtaking. Honestly, the dinner and rooftop view alone make the trip worthwhile. The BnB has just opened, so everything is brand new, modern, and clean. The rooms are beautiful, with a rustic feel. If you’re in the area, definitely stop for a night and that spectacular dinner.

The excursions are a great fit for food lovers, with knowledgeable guides leading truffle hunts, cheese and pasta making, and visits to medieval towns. The villa has been beautifully restored, the staff are amazing, and the neighborhood is friendly. Bellísimo!
