We came back to see Marino, Mina, and Fabio, and were welcomed so warmly again. The pool was lovely for a relaxing dip, and there was outdoor space that the adults, kids, and our furry friends all enjoyed. Our room had a beautiful bathroom with exposed brick. A fantastic stay.

After about five years of road trips and more than 100 B&Bs and hotels, this was easily my worst experience. I was left waiting an hour for a key, with nobody showing up and no communication. I got hung up on twice, and was left wondering if I'd have to sleep in my car. People, don't come here.

We'd booked two nights around our Saturday morning reservation at the San Pellegrino spa. At 6:30 PM, while we were in Bergamo after driving 200 km, Marino called to say the water pipes had burst and the building couldn't be used. It ruined our holiday. What kind of host would do this?

We didn't get the place we expected. Our room was down in the cellar, with a tiny window, mould and damp on the walls, a dirty floor, and spiders everywhere. The room was dirty and damp, and everything seemed neglected, including the shared areas. For us, it's a zero.

The room I booked was clean and everything was neat. Just perfect, everything was excellent.
