Resort le Capase

Mosquitoes were a nuisance both indoors and out, so I'd bring repellent. The rooms had sprays and devices that helped, while bees around the pool and breakfast area were also a bit uncomfortable. Even so, we truly enjoyed our four days at Hotel La Capase in July 2025 and plan to return. The hotel has elegant design and a peaceful feel, with a beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea, perfect for a romantic dinner or quiet outdoor breakfast. The included breakfast had lots of variety and excellent food, from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties. The infinity pool was calm, not crowded, and faced the sea. They also offered complimentary still water there, a tasty snack at 11 AM and fresh fruit at 5 PM. Staff were very kind and attentive. On our last day, they let us come to breakfast 15 minutes before its 8:00 AM opening because we had an early flight, which we really appreciated.

I loved the quiet here and really didn't want to leave. It's a phenomenal property for relaxing, with lovely pastries at breakfast and staff who gave good tips for outings. Since it's so secluded, be ready to drive quite a bit to find lunch or dinner. One thing I'd change: the constant cover music. It would be nicer to hear the natural sounds around you.

We loved our May 2025 stay here, my husband, our 21-year-old daughter and me. The staff were consistently helpful and charming, and the food was so good that after trying dinner once, we ate at the hotel every night. It's the best restaurant in the area. I also booked a massage with Luigi, who was incredible, one of the best massages I've ever had. The hotel has gorgeous views, an impressive infinity pool and beautifully landscaped gardens with quiet spots for reading or relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. We explored several nearby places: Castro Marino, where the ice cream is amazing; the cove at Acquaviva, with a great little lunch place called Anam; and Porto Miggiano for swimming. Don't miss the walking tour of Zinzulusa Cave.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The staff were brilliant, the service, food and room were excellent, and the place was immaculate. Perfect.
