Tenuta Cursano

The hosts made us feel at home with their warm hospitality and helpful local suggestions. Tenuta Carsano has a peaceful, welcoming feel, with a tranquil pool and clean, nicely decorated rooms. Set among olive trees and wildflowers, it mixes rustic character with modern comfort. It feels like a special little piece of Puglia, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

It felt more like visiting a long-lost Italian family than staying at a hotel. The family who run Tenuta Cursano are so welcoming, especially Silvia (the mother) and her daughters. They shared lovely wine and beer, olives from their farm, peanuts and taralli, and gave us great suggestions for beaches and places to eat. They even booked tables for us, which helped a lot. With only a small number of guests, the place stays calm and cosy. The pool was lovely, and Kelly, their dog, was the cutest, friendliest little thing.

The apericena was the highlight of my two nights at Tenuta Cursano. I arranged it for myself and eight others, and they served a huge spread of local food, snacks and wine for 15 euros each. We sat on hay bales beneath the trees and watched the sunset, which was so special. They also let us try their olive oil and jams, both amazing. The farm itself is rustic, with animals to visit, including giant rabbits and baby goats. The old grain mill structure is still there, as are the beehives, now used for massages. My room was clean and spacious. 10/10, would recommend.

Tenuta Cursano is a family-run, traditional Italian farm with a warm welcome from the moment you arrive. A lovely choice if you're after an authentic Italian stay.
