Apartment 4 Holiday - Rondula

Probably one of the best views in St. Cristina.

The view of Sassolungo and Sassopiatto was magnificent, and a bus stop is practically right outside. We stayed here for a late-summer hiking trip and found the small apartment quiet, comfortable, well equipped, and very well cared for. The staff on site were friendly and made things feel personal. It’s just above the village center, a nice spot if you want to get away from the crowds.

The garage was a real hassle, especially with an SUV. It felt like it took days of measuring to park without damaging the car, and it only seems suited to small cars. The apartment is cramped, particularly for more than two people, and the two windows leave it with very little light. There’s no privacy, either. For the amount of space and the distance from the center, it’s poor value. I really wouldn’t recommend it.

We stayed in winter 2022, and the view is what I’d come back for. From the terrace and gazebo, we could see the resort’s ski runs, the Sella Massif, and the mountains around them. Sassolungo was visible from the window, and even from bed through the skylight. The apartment was well kept, nicely finished, and the kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, and bathroom were all in good shape. It’s a bit far from the center, though, and hard to manage without a car. Parking is tight. There’s a bus stop nearby, but we didn’t figure out how to use it in winter; perhaps ski buses run there.
