The mountain views change along the route connecting Seceda, and they’re beautiful from every angle. This works well as a starting or ending point for the route. When we missed the last chairlift service nearby, the cable car saved us. We got there just before it closed at 17:30, which spared us a very long trekking day.

Everything here seems arranged with real care and love for nature. The view is extremely beautiful, and it’s a perfect place to rest, enjoy the scenery and have some nice food. Recommended!

If you’re fit enough, I’d skip the cable car, which costs €32 per person, and hike up route 1 to Ciaulonch hütte instead. From Col Raiser car park, take route 4A. The views are amazing and you can have a nice meal up top. For the way down, take route 4 toward Rifugio Firenze, then route 1 back to the car park.
