The balcony had a lovely view out to the sea and harbor from the side. The apartment itself was very nice, and the location was especially good 😊

We were so let down by this stay. We arrived Saturday for what was meant to be eight days, through the following Sunday, but left for Taormina and found somewhere else on Wednesday. The first night was fine. Then, from 6 a.m. Monday, very loud roadworks started as the street was dug up to move water pipes. The noise went on all day. Around 6:30 each morning, workers also came to make us move our car, even though we had parked outside the barriers. We tried several times to work something out with the owners and explained that the holiday had become miserable. They showed no interest in helping, wouldn't accommodate us, and seemed completely unwilling to find a solution. We were ignored despite our repeated attempts. We can't recommend this accommodation at all. If something goes wrong, there is no cooperation. Better to book somewhere professional.

The rooms were cozy and had everything we needed, and the apartment's location made it well worth visiting. I'll definitely come back.

Staying here was a wonderful experience. Porticello is a magical place, and the property feels just as special.
