Gianna and Andrea made us feel like we'd found a little paradise in the Tuscan hills. The views go on for miles, and the quiet here made it easy to unwind in a way that's hard to manage in everyday life. Their care shows in all the little details. Breakfast was a daily treat, with Gianna's homemade sweets, cakes, and smoothies bringing local flavors to the table. You can tell how much she loves cooking and her region. The B&B is also well placed for visiting charming towns and lovely restaurants. Gianna offered recommendations and handled reservations, which made our outings easy. Still, spending the day by the peaceful pool and enjoying the view was tempting, too. This is a destination in its own right, a real taste of Tuscany and a lovely escape from daily bustle. We're already planning to return. See you soon, Gianna,Andrea, Amy and Pepe!

The welcome was wonderful from the start. Giana met us at the gate, showed us where to park, gave us a quick tour, and shared a glass of wine while we looked out over her beautiful home. I'd emailed her about cooking lessons, and she even let us choose the menu. The views are breathtaking, our room was clean and spacious, and the hospitality couldn't be beat. Breakfasts were amazing, too. Giana kindly booked us a dinner at the neighboring agriturismo on arrival day and lunch there on Sunday. We were lucky to cook cinghale, gnudi, and tiramisu with her, then share a spectacular meal with Giana and Andrea, our new friends. We were sad to leave and plan to return. For the rest of our trip, we kept comparing everywhere to that first stay.

We spent a week with Gianna and Andrea and couldn't be happier with the choice. La Locanda del Barbagianni is tucked away in a small forest, which is part of what makes it feel like a hidden gem. The property is lovingly cared for, and the rooms are thoughtfully furnished, with outdoor seating nearby. You can wander around or stretch out in the sun looking toward the sea. The view is beautiful, and it's so quiet that you mostly hear birds and crickets. A perfect place to slow down. Gianna spoiled us each day with a generous breakfast and little homemade treats. We felt like part of the family. A huge thank you, and we hope to see you again soon at La Locanda del Barbagianni!
