Hotel Ascot

The staff were friendly and kind, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The Wi-Fi was fast, parking was easy, and the hotel is handy to the highway for an overnight stop on a road trip. We had a delicious dinner at Pizzeria Napoletana by Sciuscià, just down the road. I’d happily stay here again.

We felt safe and comfortable during our one-night stop, and the welcome from the staff was lovely. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including non-dairy milk, and the coffee was very good. The room had a mini fridge, tea-making supplies, and extra duvets. I only missed having slippers on the tile floor. The walls are a little thin, but that wasn’t a deal-breaker. It’s also only a few minutes from the highway, which is handy when passing through.

The bedroom lighting was poor, so it was hard to find things in our bags. Water also leaked from under the bath and left quite a lot on the floor. We told the receptionist, who said they’d fix it. Apart from those issues, we found this a great value, well-equipped place and would recommend it. The welcome at reception was warm, dinner was excellent and inexpensive, and breakfast was very good. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and well furnished.

We got a very warm welcome, and they arranged breakfast specially for us because we had to leave early. The room was clean and the mattresses were good. It’s on a busy road, which wasn’t a problem, though the surroundings aren’t much to look at. There are some reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
