Locanda Della Meridiana

Giorgia and Alice were amazing hosts. They went out of their way to help us, especially when we fell ill near the end of our ten-day stay at Locanda della Meridiana. They cooked rice for us, found a room despite being fully booked, and called the car rental company and pharmacies on our behalf. We’re very grateful for their care. The accommodation is a five-minute walk from the beach, the only beach in South Sardinia with clean restrooms. The grounds are beautifully arranged, with a refreshing pool, lush olive trees, and lots of comfortable spots to sit outside. Guests can pick herbs and vegetables from the lovely garden. We had a fantastic experience and a wonderful time.

We only booked one night and wished we’d stayed longer. The hotel is amazing, just 300m from the beach, and the staff were welcoming and helped us enjoy our beach day. It’s also a good base for reaching other beaches nearby. We used some of the produce they offered from the vegetable garden, which is a fantastic idea. The restaurant is well worth trying too. We ate under an olive tree in an incredibly romantic setting, and will definitely come back.

The restaurant is superb, so make sure to eat there at least once. My wife and I had an amazing four-night stay at this beautiful place. The facilities are excellent, and the lovely staff made us feel like we’d been welcomed into a family home in Sardinia. A real gem, and I can fully recommend it. The setting makes Locanda della Meridiana a great base for exploring southern Sardinia, with lots of breathtaking beaches a short drive away. We especially enjoyed the garden, full of fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs that we could use in our own cooking. The restaurant was amazing too, with flavorful, beautifully presented food made with local ingredients. Breakfast was a highlight, with pastries, fruit, yogurt, and coffee or juice each morning. Alice and Giorgia at reception were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us recommendations, answered our questions, and showed us around the property when we arrived. Their care, along with the natural surroundings, made the stay unforgettable. Everything felt beyond perfect, and we’re already looking forward to returning. If you’re visiting southern Sardinia, this place feels like paradise.
