We only stayed two nights and wished we'd booked longer. The rooms are spread across several buildings, and the hotel has one of the few well-established gardens. Ours was spacious and modern, with a sea view and air conditioning that was easy to control. Breakfast was included and great, with a variety of options. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. There's a parking lot for 30 euro a day. They also offer extras such as a spa, gym, and messaging service, some of which need to be reserved in advance. It's close to the beach area and the city's main attractions.

The service at Hotel Metropole was what made our stay memorable, with attention to detail throughout. They noticed my birthday and gave me a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a lovely greeting. Our junior suite was cozy and clean, with two balconies facing the sea. Breakfast was delicious, and on Women's Day the female guests received flowers as part of the breakfast service. Dinner at the hotel was well worth trying too. Between the relaxing spa, beautiful garden, private beach, clean facilities, good food, and sophisticated atmosphere, it easily felt like a five-star stay. Hotel Metropole was a perfect choice for us in Santa Margherita Ligure.

The spa was very nice, and the location was great. The staff were helpful. The rooms are very basic and show their age unless you upgrade to one of the better rooms.

We ended our recent Italian vacation here, and I love this hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms have amazing coastal views, and the beach area is perfect. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast, included in the price, was delicious.

The location is quite nice, but the bathroom was old and uncomfortable. The pictures on booking.com unfortunately differ quite a lot from reality, or at least from the room we were given.
