The location was really good, with a few supermarkets nearby, so making your own breakfast is easy. It's an apartment with several rooms, each with its own bathroom and mini kitchen. Our room was clean and stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable couple of days. It was also one of the more affordable options we could find, and pretty nice.

The hotel cancelled our reservation at the very last minute, saying they'd double-booked. I've since read other reviews describing the same thing happening there. A month earlier, we'd written to check that our booking was confirmed and had received confirmation in writing, so this was appalling service. They gave little explanation and showed little remorse. Frankly, it's unacceptable.

The rooms are super comfortable and the hotel is really close to the center. You'll need to ask about parking, since it isn't included. The elevator made me think of the ones in Paris.

We stayed in 2014 and had a large room in a beautiful apartment. Catalina was a wonderful host, very friendly, energetic, and generous. The train station is practically around the corner, so getting to the spectacular Cinque Terre was very easy, and it's a must-do. Restaurants and the town center are close by too.
