Mediterraneo Emotional Hotel & SPA

Breakfast was reasonable, but the mattress in our room was completely broken and ruined our night and the following day. Our backs were in terrible shape. We chose the hotel for the parking and the sofa. The spa was no use to us since it closes at 8:00 PM and only opens again 14 days later. Parking cost 38 euros, and that wasn't mentioned anywhere.

The room and hotel were good, and breakfast was okay, nothing special. Just be aware that the pool and spa can only be used from 2 pm to 8 pm. Parking costs an extra 38€.

The rooms are tiny and decorated like dorm rooms, and the service was awful. Breakfast was subpar at best, and the air conditioning didn't really work. When I was filling my small water bottle because it was hot, the woman at the front desk asked, “Are you going to drink all that?” My wife also had a spa treatment advertised as a mud wrap and massage, but it turned out to be some sort of icy-hot skin wrap and was awful. We canceled the treatments we'd booked for later that day. This place probably won't be in business very long.

The staff were welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly helpful, and the hotel was beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, and had stunning views. The attention to detail and quality amenities made our stay memorable. We especially want to thank Silvia Bottaro for helping with luggage we accidentally left behind. She was patient and dedicated, kept us updated, and coordinated efficiently with the shipping company. Silvia and the rest of the staff supported us through all the challenges of getting our bags from Santa Margherita Ligure to Melbourne, Australia. We highly recommend the hotel for its service and accommodations, and are sincerely grateful to everyone, especially Silvia, for going above and beyond.
