Breakfast in the splendid hall was a treat, especially Maria's homemade desserts and the care she takes to please her guests. She welcomed us with a smile and such warmth that we felt like family. The early 19th-century B&B Vico Mitreo 2 has peaceful terraces with aromatic plants and fragrant flowers, and the rooms are inviting and spotless. It's in the beautiful, one-of-a-kind Vicolo del Mitreo, close to the Royal Palace of Caserta and the train station. Santa Maria Capua Vetere is well worth a stop, and I'd recommend spending at least one night here. A magical, serene place.

In the evenings, the room doesn't have the basics I'd want: the TV is missing the main channels, phone service works only in certain spots, and Wi-Fi is nonexistent.

Right in the center but still quiet, the B&B is kept in good shape and feels welcoming. Mrs. Maria and Mr. Luigi were genuinely kind and ready to help.

Maria, the owner, was especially kind and willing to help with any request. The furnishings are elegant and everything was very clean. It made for a wonderful stay, and I'd recommend it for any occasion.
