Private parking is essential in this area, and this welcoming, clean place has it. Most of all, the bed is genuinely comfortable.

We loved Palazzo Benucci, a family palace with a garden full of lemon trees used to make homemade lemoncello. Pietro, the owner, welcomed us with remarkable kindness. Our room and private bathroom were impeccable, and the balcony was a lovely extra for a sunny coffee or aperitif. Pietro suggested visiting the Campanian Amphitheater, built in the Flavian period and modeled on the Colosseum, as well as the Gladiator Museum. On a magnificent sunny day, it was lovely to enjoy the view with an aperitif at one of the bars overlooking the amphitheater. Breakfast was served in the Palazzo's kitchen, with coffee, croissants, and Pietro looking after us attentively. If you're passing through San Maria Capua Vetere on your way to Puglia, staying at Palazzo Benucci makes for a wonderful experience. Thank you so much, Pietro! The city center is easy to explore on foot from here, and the room had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and happy to help with requests. It was a great experience, recommended!

The welcome was incredibly attentive and friendly, and breakfast was served on the terrace. The rooms are clean and newly renovated, with indoor parking. Even though it's central, the location is quiet.

We got such a kind, friendly welcome. The room was very nice, the bed really comfortable, and the indoor parking was free. Maybe the price is a little high, especially since some details in the room look a bit dated. Still, I absolutely recommend it!! 🏨👍🏻👍🏻💕
