Hotel Frassetto

The people running and working at this hotel were always helpful and ready to assist. We also loved the food, which was tasty and different each evening at dinner. The hotel is in a peaceful location, with the nicest and most interesting beaches very close by. We felt right at home and would go back straight away, maybe next summer 😊😊

Hotel Frassetto is a family run place with 20 rooms in Porto Pozzo, between Palau and Santa Teresa Gallura. There’s a bus stop right outside, with affordable daily services to Olbia and Santa Teresa Gallura, both short to medium trips. My room was clean and the service really good. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and the pool was nice and usually empty, so I could swim peacefully. I really enjoyed my stay.

What a charming little hotel, and the people are so hospitable. I have gluten and lactose intolerances, and they remembered, then made a cake just for me the next day without either. How kind is that? The breakfast staff didn’t speak much English, but they really tried their best to explain things and listen to us. People with this much charm feel rare, and they’re such a treasure when you find them. I’ll absolutely be back soon. Can’t recommend it enough.

We spent about 10 days at Hotel Frassetto and had a magical room overlooking the beach. The hotel itself is spacious and pleasant, with a well-equipped room and a swimming pool. We chose breakfast and dinner, and both the food variety and quality were excellent, with professional and friendly service. Porto Pozzo is a very quiet beach, and boats leave from there for a beautiful full-day tour of the Sardinian islands. The sea at the beach is calm, and the sandy area made it easy for us to keep an eye on our three-year-old boy, so it worked very well for a family. We came by bus from Olbia, and there are affordable daily buses linking the hotel with Olbia and Santa Teresa Gallura over short to medium distances. Highly recommended, we’d love to come back.
