Residence Olimpo

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. A simple place in a quiet spot near the center of Santa Teresa, just what you want if that’s what you’re looking for.

We were moved to a different residence without being told beforehand, and they acted as if nothing had changed. I didn’t complain since it was still an apartment. The place itself was nice, with a terrace and friendly staff. It was reasonably clean, though during the COVID emergency I would have expected more.

We arrived on August 11th for a two-week booking with our 5-year-old, and were sent straight to Poseidone instead. The apartment was unbearable: the bathroom had no window and felt like a sauna every time you used it, and at breakfast the sun was right in our faces. The tiny balcony had no awning or umbrella. Air conditioning was clearly listed in the reservation, but there was none. That’s extremely serious. If we’d had a baby of a few months, we would have had to take him to the hospital. Noise went on at all hours, day and night. Neighbors grilled almost every day under our bedroom window. There was vomiting at 4 am, furniture being moved at night, loud music, shouting, and doors slamming. Just pure rudeness. The lady managing the property largely ignored our complaints. TERRIBLE!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!
