Villa Nicoletta

Breakfast was far beyond what we expected, with lots of excellent local products and pastries from the chef's bakery in town. Make sure to try the ice cream there! Villa Nicoletta is just outside Porto Pozzo, a great spot for visiting the La Maddalena archipelago, which is a must-see in Sardinia. There are good restaurants nearby too, and the host gave us great advice. The host and team, led by Giovanni, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was spotless, well cared for, and tastefully designed. The rooms were immaculate, and the pool and its surroundings were lovely. This calm, welcoming place is a real gem in the north of the island. Taking care of the few important things is what makes it feel luxurious. Thanks, Giovanni and team, for a truly perfect stay. We'll definitely be back.

A peaceful spot with only a few rooms, which makes it nice for couples. The pool is heated and stays open late, and the staff and owner are very friendly. Breakfast was very good too. Ask them for tips about the area or Sardegna in general. The only downside for us was the shaky bed.

Giovanni and Tanya, along with the lovely people working there, really made our week. You can feel the care and attention to detail throughout Giovanni's beautiful B&B. Staying there was a real highlight of our week-long trip. I highly recommend Villa Nicoletta.

We had the junior suite, which felt romantic, spacious, and very luxurious. Its private terrace looks across the hills, with glimpses of the port. The hosts went out of their way to help with local information, from boat rentals and dinner bookings to beaches. There's even a room guide describing the beaches. Breakfast was incredible, with fresh bakery pastries and great coffee from jasmine. My one small complaint: Netflix and Amazon Prime are already on the TV, but you have to use your own login, so I think they should be included in the price.
