We rented e-bikes for a day and rode around the lake, with gorgeous views the whole way. Another day we hiked to the sanctuario. The area still felt quiet and not overrun when we visited in May, though having a car is useful since restaurants and supermarkets nearby are limited. There’s parking at the property. Back at the place, the hosts were so welcoming and genuine, everything was thoughtfully set up and spotless, and our comfortable room had all the little things covered. Breakfast was fantastic, with local and homemade food, and the garden was beautiful too. We stopped for lunch on the terrace at viridis, which blew us away, but book ahead. I can’t recommend this place enough if you get the chance.

We came here to switch off, surrounded by greenery and quiet, and it was perfect for that. Breakfast had an excellent range and quality, with local products and real, authentic flavors. The room felt like a proper castle room, with a mountain view from the window and stone seats that seemed to belong to another time. Everything was cozy, the beds were really comfortable, and the details were handled so well. The owner is a wonderful person who welcomed us so gently and went beyond what we expected. Such a shame I can only give five stars, it deserves at least eight. Patrizio and Carla

The hostess was attentive and friendly, and gave us lots of ideas for things to do nearby. Breakfast was excellent, with regional products. We also loved the courtyard and garden with apple trees. The old building has loads of character, and the renovation mixes its style with modern touches nicely. Our room was cozy. We'd happily come back.

A lovely choice for a calm, enjoyable break. The owner pays close attention to the details and is very thoughtful about what guests need. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the cakes. Excellent!
