It’s a beautiful Palladian villa, but the many buildings, the smaller entrance by the church, and the lack of a clear sense of the park’s beauty make it hard to appreciate from outside.

The guides, a husband and wife, deserve a special mention for welcoming us and explaining the many moving parts and challenges involved in running such a demanding place. Their love and dedication really show, congratulations to them. This almost mystical place feels stagnant, yet its owners are trying to reclaim the space it deserves. It’s worth visiting.
