Choose a renovated room if you stay here, and expect basic service and linen quality. We switched out of a "Classic" room after the first night because it was worn and smelled unpleasant. The renovated room was much better, with wood floors, but both room types had old, gray towels and duvets too thin for winter. The modern wellness and sauna area was nice, and EV charging is available. Some dinner dishes, including dumplings and pasta, were delicious. But breakfast was basic, and dinner was inconsistent. The evening vegetarian choices were lackluster and seemed to be offered reluctantly. Fresh vegetables were often missing from the set menu. The pool felt cramped and stuffy beside the pleasant sauna. We found the general attitude dismissive. Our questions weren't handled with the hospitality you'd expect in South Tyrol.

Dinner is at 6:30 PM, then you're expected to go back to your room. 8:30/9 PM is HIGHLY recommended. There's nowhere to sit in the evening for a drink or a game of cards after dinner. The food is poor, and management seems to do nothing to improve despite reading all these criticisms. What could be worse than everything that's already been written? Management should take a vacation at a hotel in Italy and see how things could be improved. Attention to sailors: AVOID THIS HOTEL, THERE ARE BETTER!
