The room was roomy, clean, and really nice, and dinner was superb. I only had one night here, which was a shame, since I’d like to return for a longer stay. I arrived after a long trip and the owner greeted me warmly. Bringing my dog was no problem at all, quite the opposite. The hotel and staff really know how to make you feel welcome.

Dinner and breakfast both stood out. At dinner, the staff anticipated what we needed and handled every request with care. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and fit the hotel’s overall concept. The wellness area had more than we expected, with options for relaxing in the spa, gentle rejuvenation, or more vigorous hydrotherapy. The design blends Alpine character with modern comfort. We were also welcomed warmly and sincerely at reception as soon as we arrived at Bad Schörgau. Every part of the stay felt carefully done. Bad Schörgau is a gem, and I’d happily recommend it.

The spa, surrounded by nature, was a highlight for us. The sauna and whirlpool can be heated with wood, which gives them a really distinctive kind of warmth. Breakfast was very good too, and charging our electric car was free.

The setting was picturesque, the hotel beautifully designed, and the service went beyond what we expected. The food was top notch, and my wife had the best massage she’s ever had. We’ve traveled extensively around the world, and this was one of our favourite stays. We absolutely loved being here and will certainly visit again.

I came for a retreat and loved the spa. It’s world class, and I could spend five days there without wishing I were anywhere else. The food was delicious, elegant, unpretentious, and elevated, with a very progressive style and Michelin quality. The rooms are large and comfortable, and everything smells of freshly cut wood. The architecture, design, and hospitality were all top notch. It’s worth traveling from anywhere for this place. Trust me.
