The pools and other facilities were already closed when we stayed for a couple of nights at the end of September, and the place felt a bit overpriced. Maybe we caught it just as the season was ending, before it was at its best. It did what we needed, but nothing about the stay stood out, and I wouldn’t return.

There’s a historic village just a five minute walk away, and the area is great for hiking and cycling. The campsite has roomy pitches with plenty of greenery, good toilets and showers that don’t need coins, plus three pools to choose from. There are large playgrounds, too. The restaurant has a big menu and fair prices. An excellent place to camp.

We camped here for two nights in September and found plenty of pitches, including a nice grassy area. With few people around, we could choose any spot we wanted. Only one of the three pools was open during our visit, and the pool area seemed dated, possibly in need of renovation. The other facilities were in really good shape. We enjoyed our stay, though the pitches don’t offer much in the way of scenery or views.

Sarteano is charming, especially with its nighttime atmosphere, and the local facilities are great. The surrounding area is beautiful to explore, and the views are lovely. Our stay was clean, peaceful, and friendly, with plenty of fun as well. We can’t wait to come back.

We spent a few days at the campsite and found the facilities clean and well maintained. The pools were amazing, and the staff were friendly. Sarteano has lots of little cafés and restaurants to discover. Recommended!
