The pool and sunbeds were the highlight for us, and the setting was peaceful, right in nature. The woman serving breakfast was so kind and clearly wanted us to feel comfortable and happy. The rooms and winery looked new and modern in the pictures, so we had higher expectations. Our room had a bit of a strange smell and small insects, which was disappointing. We were also sorry to hear that we couldn't do a wine tasting during our two-night stay, so we went to another nearby winery to try Sardinian wines. One thing for taller guests to know: the bed is only about 1.90 m long.

The staff were great and helpful, and even let us keep using the pool for the whole day after checkout since our flight from Alghero was at night. Breakfast was good, though before arriving we weren't sure it was included because booking.com didn't say so. The winery has a hotel on site, around 15 minutes by car from Alghero and right by the airport. There's a lot of potential for the rooms, but the place could use a bit more care. Our room was huge, though laid out in a strange way, and the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable.

We tried five wines with food to go with them, and the wines were excellent with a great quality-to-price ratio. The whites were really interesting and distinctive, while the reds were warm, round, and well balanced. I'm intolerant to gluten and milk, so they brought me food that suited me. Well worth it!

The people were lovely, kind, and friendly, and I'm sure the wine is great. But the accommodation let the place down, and it definitely didn't feel like a four-star stay. Our room, tucked in a dark corner at the end, was basic and unwelcoming. Outside it was dirty, with cigarette ends in the window frame and a dirty towel left by the previous guests. There was only one window, facing the outside wall of another room. There was no kettle, tea, coffee, or glasses, and no cleaning service. We got clean towels once. Breakfast was disappointing, very sparse, and exactly the same every day. We were the only guests for most of our eight days, yet they didn't offer us a slightly nicer room, perhaps one in a better spot on the grounds.
