The host was friendly and spoke gently. He apologized for his bad English, though his English was perfectly fine and we understood everything. We stayed one night while walking the via degli dei. Our double room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom could use renovation, but it was clean and that was fine with us. Each of us got a breakfast voucher for a nearby Pasticceria, where the food and coffee were delicious. grazie mille!

I stopped here while walking the Via Degli Dei. The Albergue is right in central Sasso Marconi, and a nearby confectionery had the best Neapolitan patisserie. Andrea welcomed me and took time to talk about the town's contemporary history. He also shared some wisdom that I later came across in The Four Agreement by Don Miguel Ruiz. It all felt aligned. Thank you, Andrea.

Andrea is incredibly kind and hospitable, and you can feel how passionate he is about his city. The hotel is in the center of Sasso Marconi, which makes it a convenient first stop on the Via degli Dei. The building is somewhat dated but clean. Breakfast is served at the bar, which also deserves a positive mention.

Dear Management, I want to clarify that the €38 you didn't mention was for the non-refundable travel ticket. The €62 was what I paid the hotel. My review was about how you handled my cancellation due to national mourning, a force majeure, not about a room I never stayed in. Your reply also said the money was withheld only after my review. A penalty should come from the contract terms, not retaliation. Please change your tone and offer a refund or voucher so this can be resolved properly.
