We liked this place so much that we extended our stay. It was a great last-minute find outside Bologna, still close to the airport and shopping areas. There's plenty of parking and breakfast onsite at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the fig and plum trees and sitting on the raised, semi-private patio. It works well for a large family or a group of up to 20, with separate rustic, simple bedrooms and air conditioning. The gated community has local hiking trails nearby beside sunflower fields, plus meeting facilities with a projector, screen, grill, outdoor seating, and recreation areas.

We loved the gardens around the building, and breakfast was truly amazing. The place exceeded our expectations: the building has been nicely renovated and feels comfortable, while keeping many historic details that give it charm. It really does feel like a palace, and the price we paid was great value.

The property looks nice, but some of the details and changes felt strange, so our impressions were mixed. We'd expected a stylish stay, yet we were given one bedroom when we'd reserved two. There was no proper fridge in the room, just a supersmall one, and the shared fridge was full.

Make sure you have a car to get here, or at least internet on your phone so you can contact the hotel first. Walking isn't an option. Once you're there, it's wonderfully quiet and private, with lovely decor. The staff are available for anything you need, even things the hotel doesn't offer. I have no complaints, it's an absolutely wonderful place and a must for anyone looking for peace.

The room was huge, clean, furnished nicely, and well equipped. Breakfast was simple but complete and tasty. The palace has been restored and maintained incredibly well, with details that are a feast for the eyes. A magnificent place where peace and quiet take over.
