We prepaid for a room through a major booking website well ahead of time, and Hotel Rikhelan confirmed it. Then, the evening before our stay, the website emailed to say the hotel had cancelled because of a double booking. The hotel never contacted us directly. We tried calling and messaging several times but got no reply, so we had to find somewhere else at short notice during high season. Other reviews suggest this has happened before. Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM FROM HOTEL RIKHELAN OR WHATEVER THEY CALL THEMSELVES IN DIFFERENT PLACES!

A lovely chalet in a secluded, peaceful spot surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was great.

The hotel cancelled our reservation on the day we were due to arrive, without warning. We had confirmation by email and phone. I would NOT recommend staying here.
