Hotel Bivera Sauris

The food was excellent, and the hotel’s central spot in Sauris di Sopra came with peace and magnificent views. We spent a few days there and felt really looked after by the owners and their friendly staff, including Jenny.

Michele was happy to adapt the already excellent menu, even coming up with “Sauris Soup” one colder-than-usual evening when we wanted minestrone that wasn’t listed. That care helped turn a vacation that began badly into something special. Daniela and Michele, the owners, welcomed us warmly after we left another property that didn’t suit us, and they run the hotel with Sara and Genny. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, tastefully furnished, and kept clean and tidy. They’re also great with children. Our very lively one-and-a-half-year-old loved the toys and the personalized menu the chef made for him. We definitely recommend the hotel, and if we return to Sauris, we already know where we’ll stay.

At Hotel Bivera, now under new management, we had a few comfortable days in beautiful rooms with stunning mountain views. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi could use improvement, but everything else was fine.

Jenny makes you feel at home, just as a good host should. We’ve eaten at the restaurant several times, and each visit feels like going to an aunt’s house. Her homemade grappa is a must-try.
