The apartment worked well for two: there was good cooking equipment, a comfy bed, an excellent shower, and it was quiet. We could walk into the centre easily and reach Clotes Ski Lift on foot. Reception were friendly and helpful. My WiFi worked on the first night, then stopped, and attempts to fix it didn’t help. My partner’s connection was fine throughout. The small TV also didn’t work through the cable aerial. Bedside lamps would soften the bright main lighting, and a larger TV with WiFi and casting would be useful. A bit of inexpensive wall art could make the place feel warmer. We were very happy with the stay and would recommend it, around 4.5 stars.

Before I arrived, I was told I could use the ZTL (Monfol) gate and that my number plate would be reported to the local police. I was still fined, and the hotel couldn’t get the ticket cancelled, so I had to pay it myself. The apartment itself was in an unacceptable state. It seemed unfinished, with a horrible smell in the rooms, incomplete hallways, and construction dust everywhere. The organizational problems only added to it. The hotel’s handling of the whole situation was terrible. I would not recommend staying here.
