This is the best place I've stayed, out of all the chalets and hotels I've tried in France and Italy. It's our second year here: we had a double room last year and a triple with our daughter this year, and both stays were exceptional. Nicoleta and her team are incredible. She makes you feel at home, says to treat the place as your own, and nothing seems too much trouble. A highlight is the welcoming shared space downstairs, with a little bar, comfy seating, a fire and the tables where breakfast is served. You can relax and meet other guests there. Nicoleta is happy for you to bring in takeaway, like the pizza we've had, or she'll set up a table with cutlery if you want to prepare cold food such as cheese, bread or antipasti. The whole chalet is spotless, including the rooms, bathrooms and shared areas. The beds and linen are top quality, and the rooms are serviced beautifully. Breakfast is fantastic too: toast, cheese, ham, cereals, fresh fruit, good coffee and tea, plus delicious homemade cakes from Nicoleta's mother-in-law. It's such a warm, friendly place to stay. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend, and book direct if you can, since you'll get a better price.

We had a great week at Chalet Chez Nous with the family. Nicoletta was an extremely welcoming and helpful host, and breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal: a one minute walk to the heated boot room, then another three minutes to the lift, which took us straight to Sportinia and the main ski area. Hope we can return soon.

Sitting by the fire with a drink and a platter of cheese and meat was a real highlight. Nicoletta deserves special mention for her 12/10 customer service and all the thoughtful touches that made our stay better. The location is great, and the rooms are a decent size with USB plugs, which I like. Everything was cleaned spotlessly every day. Loved the breakfast cakes, and the boot room made the walk to the slopes even shorter. Staying outside the centre also meant we never had to queue for the first lifts. I can't recommend it enough. I don't usually return to the same place, but I'd like to come back here!

Best ski holiday ever. Vialattea is a lovely resort for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, and the atmosphere, location and staff were great. Nicoletta, Sonja & la mama went above and beyond. Definitely going again next year!

The Alps have never seen a better place to stay for skiing than Chalet chez nous! The slopes are just a couple of minutes' walk away, and there's a cabin where you can leave your gear. Room service had everything a baptised christian could want. The area is full of great restaurants with really nice food, and the staff are caring and helpful, always smiling even when they're working from early morning. Jokes aside, I'd give it 13/10 ;)
