Hotel Gran Baita

The food was a real plus: a great buffet breakfast, a salad buffet at dinner, then two more courses and dessert with half board. Drinks were reasonably priced too. We were lucky to get a large room with a bath, and housekeeping came in every day. The room was basic but clean, with a comfy bed, and it was quiet at night. The staff were great from the start. We stayed for a week with Crystal ski, and walked to the Clotes lift, using the ski storage there for convenience instead of the hotel's. Would recommend and would come back. The bar was welcoming and had good prices, and there was plenty of tasty food. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We had a great time at this lovely family hotel, with good rooms and a central location close to a lift. Can't fault it. Thanks to Bianca and your team, we'll be back.

Meals come with plenty of food, and the staff are polite and very helpful. It's a great little family-run hotel, with easy access to the ski lifts. Anything the hotel doesn't have is close by.

The room was stiflingly hot, especially since it was on the top floor, and the hotel was noisy at night. Rain on the neighbour's metal roof made a racket too. Parking is another issue: there are far fewer spaces than rooms, and even the limited notices don't convey the reality of this tight, pedestrianised town, which isn't built for cars. The receptionist wasn't welcoming and wanted to argue about parking. They also wanted me to pay directly instead of through Booking.com. And despite what Google says, breakfast isn't free.
